This privacy policy governs your use of the software application "DropZone Altimeter Skydive Sim" (the "Application"), an iOS skydiving altimeter simulator, created by dreamcraft.io (the "Developer").
Information Collection and Use
The Application is a skydiving altimeter simulator designed to help users practice altitude awareness, configure jump profiles, and explore customizable altimeter skins — entirely on their device.
The Application does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information or any data from your device.
All simulator operations — including altitude calculations, skin selections, alert configurations, and jump profile settings — are performed entirely locally on your device. No data is ever sent to the Developer or any third party.
No Data Collection
To be explicitly clear, the Application does not:
- Collect or ask for any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, location, etc.).
- Collect any non-personally identifiable information (such as device type, operating system version, usage statistics, crash reports sent to third parties, etc.).
- Access, read, or transmit any data stored on your device (contacts, photos, health data, etc.).
- Use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
- Track your activity within the Application or across other apps and websites.
- Share any data with third parties for any purpose.
Barometric Pressure / Altitude Sensor
The Application may access the device's barometric pressure sensor (where available) solely to display a real-time altitude reading on screen. This sensor data is:
- Read and processed entirely locally on your device in real time.
- Never stored, logged, or transmitted outside of the Application.
- Used exclusively to render the on-screen altimeter display during an active session.
Important Safety Notice: The Application is a training simulator only and is NOT a certified altimeter. It must NEVER be used as a substitute for a real, calibrated altimeter during an actual skydive or any other airborne activity. Always use certified, approved equipment in the air.
In-App Purchases
The Application may offer in-app purchases (such as additional altimeter skins or themes) through Apple's App Store. All payment transactions are handled exclusively by Apple and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. The Developer does not receive, process, or store any payment information. The only data the Application receives from Apple's StoreKit framework is the confirmation of a completed or restored purchase, used solely to unlock the corresponding content locally on your device.
Children's Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect any personal information from children or from any other users. Since no personal information is collected at all, the Application is inherently compliant with children's privacy regulations including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has somehow provided personal information through the Application (which is not technically possible), please contact us so we can address the concern.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
