Privacy Policy for Kido Garden

Last Updated: MAY 9, 2026

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application "Kido Garden" (the "Application"), an iOS learning game for young children (ages 3–6), created by dreamcraft.io (the "Developer").

Kido Garden is designed for the Apple Kids Category and is built around a strict, no-data-collection foundation. We do not want — and do not collect — any information about you or your child.

Information Collection and Use

The Application is a procedural learning garden where the child completes short, voice-guided micro-tasks (sorting, counting, shape and color recognition, patterns) to grow a virtual garden. Every interaction happens entirely on the device.

The Application does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information or any data from your device.

All gameplay state — including completed levels, garden progress, settings, and language preference — is stored locally on the device using Apple's standard on-device storage (UserDefaults). Nothing is ever sent to the Developer or to any third party.

No Data Collection, No Tracking

To be explicitly clear, the Application does not:

  • Collect or ask for any personally identifiable information (such as a name, email address, photo, location, or birthday).
  • Collect any non-personally identifiable information (such as device identifiers, IP address, usage statistics, or crash logs sent to third parties).
  • Use Apple's IDFA, App Tracking Transparency tracking, or any third-party tracking framework — there are no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no attribution SDKs embedded in the Application.
  • Use any third-party analytics, advertising, marketing, or tracking services of any kind.
  • Track activity within the Application or across other apps and websites.
  • Display third-party advertising of any kind.
  • Share any data with third parties for any purpose.
  • Access, read, or transmit any data stored on your device (contacts, photos, microphone, camera, health data, etc.).
  • Require, request, or support account creation, sign-in, or social-network linking.
  • Provide a way for children to communicate with other users or the public.

How Voice Prompts Work

The Application reads short instructional prompts to the child (such as "put each seed in the matching hole"). These prompts are produced entirely on the device using Apple's built-in text-to-speech (AVSpeechSynthesizer) or pre-bundled neural voice models shipped inside the Application. The microphone is never accessed. No voice is recorded, transmitted, or stored.

In-App Purchases

The Application may offer optional in-app purchases through Apple's App Store. All payment transactions are handled exclusively by Apple and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. The Developer does not receive, process, or store any payment information.

The only data the Application receives from Apple's StoreKit framework is the confirmation of a completed or restored purchase, used solely to unlock the corresponding content locally on the device. As required by Apple for the Kids Category, all in-app purchases and purchase-related buttons are placed behind a parental gate.

Parental Gate

Any feature that leaves the child-facing area of the Application — including the parent dashboard, in-app purchases, the link to manage subscriptions, the link to this privacy policy, and any external link — is placed behind a parental gate that requires solving a simple task that a young child cannot complete unaided. The child-facing area of the Application contains no external links and no third-party content.

Children's Privacy

The Application is designed for children ages 3 to 6 and is intended for use under parental supervision. The Application does not knowingly collect any personal information from children or from any other users. Because no personal information is collected at all, the Application is built to be compliant with children's privacy regulations including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and GDPR-K, and Apple's App Store Review Guidelines for the Kids Category.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has somehow provided personal information through the Application (which, to our knowledge, is not technically possible), please contact us so we can investigate and address the concern.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because no data ever leaves the device, there is nothing for the Developer to retain or delete on your behalf. To remove all data created by the Application, you may delete the Application from the device. This will remove all locally stored progress, settings, and purchase confirmations from that device.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
